Fortunately, we can still use NG here in Alabama. My heat pump is for A/C and my heat comes from NG. My backup generator is also NG.

I’m out in the sticks, so no NG for me. Propane, but it too is costly.

I do have two fireplaces. I think I’m going to get a wood stove insert. I’ve a ton of wood just growing on the acreage out back!
