Tucker got the ball rolling. His report directly went against the narrative of the J-6 committee and the MSM. I’m not sure that what was recorded on J-6 had all that many more surprises in the taps. I suspect that they will be made public in the near future. He stirred up the hornet’s nest.

It remains to be seen what will happen but the story may just die away now that Tucker has backed off. Jonathan Turley and Naomi Wolf may have written columns in reaction to the videos aired last Monday, but I doubt they will have much impact.

Robert Arial's cartoon for March 11 (available on GoComics.com) is entitled "Tucker's TV dinner." On the left it has "Senate Republicans condemn Carlson's Jan. 6 lies." On the right it has Tucker eating a crow and saying "I happen to like crow! In fact I love crow! Yum!"

That may be part of the strategy--pretend that Tucker has been discredited. Since the vast majority of the population didn't watch his show last Monday, that may be enough.
