Of course it makes a difference who the jack man is and his physical qualities. I think that applies to all sports. What I don’t get is why no team in the the NHL ever recruited this guy to be goalie. Lace up the skates and have two defensemen push him and park him in crease.

I worked as a jack man for Elmo Langley back in the early ‘70’s...That was when NASCAR was mostly all “good ol’ boys” and racin’ was racin’...Most everybody knew everybody and we all had good times...
