Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell was being treated at a local hospital after he fell at a hotel Wednesday evening, according to a spokesman.
The 81-year-old senator from Kentucky fell after he tripped at a hotel in Washington, D.C., his spokesman said.

I would have preferred he die in a car fire, but I will accept the slow debilitating complications of a broken hip.

Mcconnell is 80.... my dad fell at 81 and didn’t survive it.

Mitch falling is only partially due to old age. He had polio when he was a child and has had a weak leg since. Obviously, probably has become weaker due to age. However, his problem is far different than senile Joe’s falling problem.

That’s what happened to my dad.....he was fighting sepsis at the time he fell. Broke his shoulder in the afternoon..........he passed away later that evening.

I saw (and smelt) someone die in a car fire it wasnt pretty, driver desperately tried to get out of the vehicle that was in a head on wrong way crash. victim was not the wrong way driver.. gone in less than 30 seconds I was too far away to help. will never forget it.
What was Mitch doing in his hotel room that made him lose his balance…? 🤔
I sincerely hope McConnell makes it to 100, with just enough brain function to suffer in pain and misery. It will be good practice for eternity.
