Yeah the crowd I used to hang with back in the 80s would occasionally throw “hunch punch” parties.
Grain alcohol mixed with a fruit juice of some sort......the fruit juice hid the taste......that made it REALLY dangerous. 😏
In my neck of the woods that concoction was called “Wapatooie”. Never actually saw it spelled, but I spelled it like we said it.
Several bottles of cheap booze dumped into a large container, followed by a few gallons of Hawaiian punch or cheaper equivalent.
As you said, very dangerous, but the ladies loved it. Kinda like White Russians. One doesn’t even realize that one is drinking alcohol.
