Malinois are not very large, 60 lb maybe, but need to be expertly trained, high energy level, best not to leave them with someone they don’t know well, who they don’t take orders from.

Cane Corso, that’s the huge dangerous sociopath’s dog.

Cane Corso? They’re a an old breed of mastiff. Italian. Mastiffs aren’t known for being vicious. I know several people who have them and I wouldn’t describe them as sociopaths.

We live in a maze of cul de sacs , and a lot of neighbors and just walkers use the streets to walk their dogs.

About 4 years ago we had some scary fires around our area, and that drove some coyotes, wolves, a couple of bears and a few of what appeared to be coy dogs into our areas.

Most of those critters avoided us and our dogs. A group of what appeared to be Coy dogs would lure unleashed dogs over rockwalls about 3-4’ high to become meals/snacks.

One of the guys in the area had a Belgium Malinois police dog and a Russian wolfhound. After a couple of losing encounters for the Coy Dogs. The Coy dogs left the area.
