So if we know who we are, then we shouldn’t have any rotten and provincial ideas about rejecting ideas that conflict with or which aim to and could destroy who we are. We should celebrate eating Tide-pods. We should take drugs. We should allow criminals to roam our streets freely, committing any tort they can think of. We should elevate and celebrate a criminal class not subject to our rules of law.
We should embrace any cockamamie idea, no matter how sordid or odious even if it/they clash with any sense of morality. We should embrace bizarre sex practices and reject the nuclear family in favor of the newness and novelty we seek.
