My advice is to learn to make your damn chicken. :) The problem with making your own fried chicken was having to immerse it in oil, which was not practical for small batches.
Now you can put it in an air dryer instead.

I’d probably choose the air dryer or do a large batch in oil and then freeze the unused.
Or pig out on a Saturday night, when I ain’t got nobody but I’ve got some money because I just got paid.
