You mean the bump stock ban that had a negligible impact on gun rights and Trump knew the courts would strike it down anyway? He supported that to give the gun control zealots a squirrel to chase after.
Nothing conservative about "Two weeks to slow the spread" as he handed the keys to the country over to Dr. Fauci.
Literal millions of people worldwide would have died from drug or alcohol abuse, depression, endless lockdowns, and starvation had Trump not forced the globalists to rush their plans when Trump introduced Operation Warp Speed.
Nothing conservative about Covid stimulus payments that sparked the inflation bubble.
That was Congress, not Trump.
And now he's throwing gay parties at Mar-A-Lago. Is that conservative?
Were kids involved? Who cares if adult men wear makeup and panty hoses?
But don't call him a conservative. He wasn't one and never pretended otherwise.
You and I both knew that Trump wasn't a Reaganesque conservative. That's why we supported him. Because "conservatives" haven't done squat in pushing back against the Left until Trump came along.
Really? How negligible is it when the ATF gets to change the definition of a machine gun as defined in the Gun Control Act and National Firearms Act? And only the Fifth Circuit has ruled that bump stocks cannot be classified as a machine gun. So for most of the US the Federal ban is still in place. Which means that for most of the US, people had their bump stock turned into an illegal device with no compensation, etc.
It will take years to unwind the mess that President Trump caused with that ruling. Perhaps now that there is a circuit split, the Supreme Court will take up bump stocks, something that they have declined to do several times.
Wow. I've heard this before. "This ban will have negligible impact on gun rights."
Sounds like a Democrat.
Guess what? I didn't vote for Trump to ban f***ing guns! I don't care how "negligible" it was on my rights.
Even Obama didn't ban guns.
And the rest of your post is typical boilerplate, "Not Trump's fault!"
Anyhow, I supporting an actual conservative in this race. If Trump gets the nod, so be it. I'll vote for him. But I'm not going to pretend he's some champion of conservatism. He's only less liberal than his Democrat opponent.
He's Romney with mean tweets.
