They need to fly in a C-130 through a line of monsoon thunderstorms to see what can get really exciting.
Or land on an aircraft carrier, once.
Been there, done that. Many times out of Davis-Monthan AFB as electronic weapons system crew in the back.
The worst I ever felt in any aircraft was doing a bunch of touch-and-goes in the summer for the flight crew to get their training in. 110 degrees on the ground Even hotter in the aircraft.
The only time I barfed (there are two kinds of people who fly, those who have barfed, and those who will) was when we were flying straight and steady with a bit of up and down wave motion. Felt it coming, finished the flight with no issues. Don't get seasick, either.
They need to sit in the jump seat behind the pilot in a C-130 and watch as he lands the plane. Now that’s a thrill.
Agree- but these are civilians probably on a civilian airliner that cannot guarantee smooth flight. Oh well- agree with you, reminds me of this scene from way back...a young Alec Baldwin

But I always suspected it was mostly the crew having some fun with the passengers.
On one, an observation port on the roof was leaking like crazy and water was pouring in! It appeared that every member of the crew would climb up and attempt to seal it.
“OMG what a bunch of pansies. I’m not sure I’ve ever been on a flight where people didn’t vomit even on a good day.”
Jim never vomits at home
