I would respect if they went behind the bar to get food, water or soft drinks but the fact they went for alcohol says more about them then it does about the airline, airport or situation.
Thinking about this more, the people involved will probably face criminal charges for stealing the booze and possibly violating the liquor laws (SC or parts of it has some strange rules or did). I remember being in Myrtle Beach and they had to serve liquor from miniatures so there was no question on how much was dispensed.
They know exactly who was in the airport, they likely have video and airports have cops that have little actual police work to do. Look how quickly they found additional luggage theft cases on that energy department freak once they started looking.
