Trump would leave, not DeSantis. Trump already has a 2nd home in Jersey. All he’d have to do is change his homestead. Not that any evidence REALLY points to a DT/RD ticket but...its certainly doable
That would work. I don't know how Floridians would take it, and it would open him up to carpetbagger accusations just like Hillary "New Yorker" Clinton, but it would get around the Constitutional problem.
