Absolutely beautiful. I haven’t crocheted in a while - my son bought a kit for me for Christmas for a crocheted bunny - he did one and it turned out GREAT. I’ve always had problems with tension when I crochet - I’ll have to give it another try.

A project like this particular baby blanket would be a great one on which to practice tension. It’s an ‘easy’ pattern, all double crochet & single crochet stitches (you slip stitch a bit to connect rounds). Gauge isn’t critical. If you use ‘ombre’ yarn, the color changes just happen and result in something really attractive.

This designer (Crochet Kim) also has a shawl, poncho and a rectangular blanket in the same Lunar Crossing stitch pattern.

I have a way of holding the yarn that works for me to keep tension - you just have to crochet enough to work out what works for you.
