Supposed to get 14” tonight with 35 mph winds.

Plenty of dry wood still in the racks.

What is a heat pump?

Long ago when I was young and crazy we heated with wood and it consumes a lot of time.
OH, and time is money.

So we installed a very efficient and comfortable radiant floor heating system 94% efficient WM Ultra boiler.

All was well until ahole shut down the pipeline and gas went to the moon.
So we used the heat pump and saved over one hundred dollars a month.

Yep - heat pumps are actually pretty decent, but once it gets near the mid-20s, they can’t do the job...then we pay for the electric heating elements...
