Peter Green. A bad mammer-jammer.

I first heard Fleetwood Mac in 1972, at the Celebrity Theater, in Phoenix, AZ. I was a spry 15-year-old but apparently was developing good tastes in music and bands along that same adolescent growth time frame.

The draw for me was to see Long John Baldry. Unfortunately, LJB, for reasons unknown, did not show up, but two bands that I didn’t know anything about were on the marquee - Fleetwood Mac & Savoy Brown.

Oh boy!

These bands were quintessential jam bands (pre-pop mega success) and crushed it...
