Hmmm…don’t know if I’ve seen those or know the story.

I was a pretty regular SNL watcher in the first few years.

Zappa did I’m the Slime, essentially attacking the whole institution of TV. It was great! He had their number over 40 years ago.

The Don Pardo involvement was genius.

I mentioned Elvis Costello above. He started one song for about 2 bars, stopped, and then ripped into Radio, Radio, which attacks commercial radio. “The radio is in the hands of such a lot of fools trying to anesthetize the way that you can feel.” I’m sure CBS had commercial radio stations at the time.

Not sure about Milton Berle, will have to look into that.
