You’re not supposed to use tap water with those sinus cleaners to begin with. They specifically tell you to use distilled or purified water, along with their saline packets. They also tell you not to use regular salt.

I have a deviated septum, and Rhinitis, so there's times my nose runs uncontrollably, then it will stuff up. I also get sneezing jags at least once a day, so I'm blowing my nose a lot. In order to be able to breathe when I sleep, I have to wear a nasal strip every night to bed.
