Since the fact of the indictment has been announced, why can’t we see it?
I can’t think of a rationale for proceeding this way.
Bragg would be at home with former KGB heads in the USSR.
And it reminds me of the fact that there are still secret parts of the search warrant affidavit for Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.
I don’t think the Framers wanted the grand jury process to be abused in this way.

The latest news from NBC I’ve seen on this says that the indictment may not be unsealed until President Trump is arraigned on Tuesday.
If that proves true, I wonder if Bragg’s devious thinking here is that he can force Trump to have to sit through a full reading of the indictment as an indignity.
But perhaps Trump’s lawyers have a copy of the document and just have not spoken about it yet that I’ve seen. Then they can waive the right to have the indictment read out to speed the arraignment along.
But take just one step back: America has fallen immeasurably when we are even talking about a politically motivated arraignment of any length.

Trump’s indictment is being portrayed as a victory but it doesn’t take a genius to see this is a weak move, not a powerful one. They just broke with precedent to go after a political rival in the midst of a presidential campaign, opening the door to be indicted themselves…
They’ve convinced themselves that Trump is as worthless as they portray him to be. But it’s not true - he’s a fighter whether they let you see it or not & he knows this is a fight to the death - he said it at his last rally. Like a matador in the ring, he is drawing out the bull.
He knows it’s dangerous & there’s a chance he may not see the end but he also knows you cannot have a hope of winning if you aren’t in the ring. And if you think a war this big can be won w/out giving anything up, then you’re in denial or delusional or blind? Maybe all three?
Wait & see what we learn about Bragg & others as this moves forward. Trump’s job was always to disrupt & expose - & he has achieved both. But it’s not over & with Rudy Guliani in his corner, this will not go as the idiots are saying all over TV. They underestimate both.
Sometimes to set a trap you have to be patient, slow and deliberate and you take risks. I am a child of Africa, born of that soil, my soul forged in fire. My mother always told me to be like the lion, sit & wait in the tall grass & let your prey come to you.
And Trump did. They gave up a lot when they indicted a former President on charges so weak the true motive is almost impossible to miss. And they are losing their grip on one false narrative after another. the truth & they cannot stop God.
