My son in law is black. He used to be a Democrat, but we worked on him. He is now a proud conservative and a Trump supporter. We love him like a son, because he is our son. He’s smart with a college degree, and works hard to support his family,
His family has all but disowned him. But he’s trying to get them to see the folly of the Democrat party. They treat my (white) daughter like crap. Refuse to accept her and barely accept the one son they have. They are so filled with hate for white people. My son in law and daughter tell me that when they have family get togethers with his family, almost all they talk about is whitey, vile, hateful talk.
So, there is hope but only a sliver, I’m afraid. For the most part, they do hate us. There are many great black people but many more are filled with hate for whites. It’s deep. My son in law’s family is a very successful, very educated family so it kind of shocked me that they were so anti-white.
The sad irony is that many Black folks whose families have been in America for hundreds of years have some White ancestry. Look at the shock and denial by Communist Angela Davis at her own heritage (White ancestors came over on the Mayflower). She’s half-White and hates that half of herself with a burning passion. But folks like her and her ideology have to stoke that racial hate for power and privilege.
It's in a low income area. We have some folks who join our church who still have one foot in the blame-the-whitey cult. But as they slowly come out of a life of hedonism and into a life of Jesus, the racism goes away. For the most part, the blacks who are raising kids in married families are the ones who don't get into the Democrat cult racism. But the blacks who are living the consequences of hedonism (i.e. on drugs, low income as a single parent who started making babies young) are the ones who hate admitting to themselves that their behaviors got them where they are -- so they blame whites. As the years go by I've seen some of those get closer to Jesus, turn from their old ways including racism, and become the best volunteers with young folks telling them not to make the mistakes they did.
I was married to a Native woman for 15 years. Sounds like their family gatherings.
Why on earth would he return for that abuse? I'd never do that to my wife (and kids).
And don’t forget how your WHITE daughter nursed her BLACK father-in-law for years while he was bedridden, and then dying. Which his own kids did not do. And for which she never was thanked by her inlaws.
