Look out for anyone who uses the euphemism of “relationship” to describe their interaction with the opposite sex. I think it usually means a continuing sexual conjoining without lasting commitment. One step above my “Tuesday afternoon”, or “my mistress.”

I am in a “relationship” with my mother. I am in a “relationship” with my brother. I am in a “relationship” with my niece.
