Do high schools even have shop classes or typing or Home Economics and Cooking Skills classes?
Are there still giggles of girls?
Do the girls see the guys as foxes in their little henhouse?
I type using 2 fingers and I correct misspellings along the way.

It’s been many years, but I also think I remember the word Selectric.
Anyway, it was worth it. My first job in book publishing and I stayed in the trade 40 years on staff and then did some freelance, where I was able to finally work on conservative books!
In 1935 my Dad won the state typing championship in the state capital against 70 some odd girls. He used that skill later in the US Army in WWII and became a Bronze Star Master Sergeant in the Judge Advocates Corp in the Battle of the Bulge theater. When he was in his sixties he could still type faster on a manual or the old IBM Executive than I could or most other people could.
