Multiple newspapers have pulled the popular office comedy comic strip “Dilbert” after its creator Scott Adams made racist comments in his podcast, and then doubled down on them.
“I’m going to back off from being helpful to Black America because it doesn’t seem like it pays off,” Adams said. “The only outcome is I get called a racist … it makes no sense to help Black Americans if you’re White. It’s over. Don’t think it’s worth trying!”
“I’m not saying we should start a war or anything - we should just get away,” he said as he continued discussing race in education and other issues.
Oh man, this is getting crazier and crazier. Dilbert is a great cartoon.
We have not been allowed to speak honestly about race relations in any public way for a very long time, no matter how good the intentions involved. I have spoken privately with black people about it, very productively, with all of us agreeing the wokerati are trying to stir up trouble and divide us and make things worse, although they always start such conversations. I would not presume to.
There’s a reason the wokerati don’t want any honest discussion among people of goodwill.
Scott, you don’t just have to “stay away” from the duped and angry people (of whatever race or heritage) who don’t think it’s okay to be white, you also have to shut up.
How is that racist?
