It is entirely relevant, and saying it isn't is actually contrary to your original argument that stated nature was a much greater determinant than nurture. That said, most studies weight them as about equally important.

Regarding the entire IQ argument, how many people in the world have actually ever taken an IQ test? Unless everyone has, comparisons aren't going to be very helpful. Further, if you look at highest average IQ per country, Israel generally doesn't make the top 10. Does that mean anything, or prove that Jews aren't ‘the smartest’? No, it doesn't. It's irrelevant, just like all these blanket proclamations.

With all due respect, if it's important for you to think that certain groups of humans are smarter than others, that's obviously your prerogative and is perfectly fine with me. I personally think that despite all the ‘smart people’ in the world we seem to be going to hell in a handbasket, and human intellect doesn't seem to be helping.
