I think the expectation that all groups are absolutely equally intelligent, on average, is fiction on the level of the modern trans movement. The same goes for pretending that all families and individuals are absolutely equally intelligent.

I’d suggest those who can’t accept that have placed too much value on intellectual power—and with such misplaced emphasis have lost what is equal and precious in all.

I didn't say that all families or all individuals are equally intelligent. I said that this type of intelligence involves many, many genes, most of which will sort separately during reproduction. That multi-gene traits are passed on to progeny in a complex manner that can skip individuals and generations is not a question. It's a fact. That environmental factors can alter gene expression over a lifetime by epigenetic changes (e.g. methylation) is also not a question. It's a fact.

As such, making statements that individuals from (name your favorite background or group) are more intelligent than others is just not accurate. Some undoubtedly are, some undoubtedly aren't.
