“Scientists are constantly shocked by new discoveries that upset the old thinking.”
Pretty damn funny from where I’m standing. The longer I live, the more I am told that all those established scientific “facts and laws” that my ever so intelligent college professors insisted were incontrovertible and unquestionable are actually false and complete BS.
Now I’m wondering if my STEM degree is still valid since so much of my thesis was based on false information.
Geez when I was in school we were taught about the scientific method of inquiry.
