I thought the science was settled.
K-Mart is dead.🤨
“our theories of early galaxy formation may be wrong”
That means the Big Bang is total garbage—which many of us have suspected for a long time.
That means the age of the universe is completely unknown—all previous estimates can be tossed in the trash.
If by miracle they figured it all out, yes He’d laugh and change the rules 😂
Geez when I was in school we were taught about the scientific method of inquiry.
Woops 🤪
“All this means is that our theories of early galaxy formation may be wrong.”
I learned the truth when I was five, in Sunday School.
My first thought was how accurate the software really is.
The truth doesn’t care whether “experts” say it’s settled or not.
There is no sentiment more anti-science than “the science is settled.”
Years ago some made fun of people who believed that God made everything from nothing (actually I don’t believe that, I believe that matter=energy coexists with God and both are eternal) then scientists told us that the universe originated in a anomaly the size of a grapefruit, and now they say it came from nothing...
an infinite universe that comes from nothing? the “scientists” are patching up their theories
For years our press has been “surprised” when their kookie liberal ideas are repudiated by reality. I have to wonder if it might be the same phenomenon here with an “impossible” discovery.
Ditto that, but there were a few professors that would only tolerate inquiry/questions within certain parameters. In other words, if they couldn’t answer your question, they told you to shut up and stick to the text.
“We looked into the very early universe for the first time and had no idea what we were going to find,” Leja explained. “It turns out we found something so unexpected it actually creates problems for science. It calls the whole picture of early galaxy formation into question.”
It takes more faith than I have to believe that everything came from nothing for no reason, than to believe the watch has a watchmaker.
Really? Gawd these people are stupid.
Because the Bible is totally lacking in accuracy and detail regarding the Creation.
"These objects are way more massive than anyone expected," explained astronomer Joel Leja. "We've discovered galaxies as mature as our own in what was previously understood to be the dawn of the universe."
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)
The James Webb Space Telescope cost NASA $10 billion and launched in 2021. Many on the left are incensed that the telescope was named after a brilliant scientist who is accused of being complicit with homophobic firings at NASA in the 1950s and 1960s.
That is what befits "nearly spit out my coffee"
Let me guess. The software was engineered courtesy of Dominion. /s
Maybe. But do they _really know_ that?
