Friday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) indicated his souring on the U.S. involvement in the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

The Missouri Republican called on Europe to take on a larger role while the United States handled its domestic challenges, including the aftermath of the East Palestine, OH rail derailment.

Imagine if we stopped world wide aid for just one week. Those tax dollars could do good for our own citizens. Of course, the outcry and hand wringing would be over the top around the world.

Sorry, but I don’t recall Hawley as being particularly supportive of Trump or his agenda, and appears just now to be getting on board with it. Or, do I owe him an apology?

I damned sure don’t think you owe him or anyone else an apology.

There was a meme floating around…..People are so used to being lied to and manipulated that facts and the truth are considered aggressive.

Pres Trump, love him or hate him, spoke the plain truth. Lots of folks, including many on here, didn’t like hearing the plain, unfiltered, non-sugarcoated truth.

Germany has made the calculation as to how little they can get away with supporting the proxy war Biden wanted against Russia and is waiting on the war’s end so they can resume importing cheap Russian gas once they contribute to rebuilding the Nord Stream pipeline Biden blew up. That will be the biggest expense Germany had in the war. NATO is one big calculation of self interest when it comes to Europe.

Amen. Not only bring the troops home but stop the massive giveaways in terms of trade deals and foreign aid both of which were meant to buy influence abroad.

I’m not interested in “leading”. I’m interested in doing what is best for America. That means investing at home and restoring our industrial base that was left to rot. That means securing our borders booting out illegals and radically slashing H1bs. That means staying out of endless wars of choice overseas.

I have literally been saying this since 1991 when the Cold War ended.

Why the hell do we even still have troops in Europe? They have 500 million people to our 330 million and they have an economy larger than ours. They are more than capable of defending themselves if they want to. They of course want us to do it for them to free up that cash for socialism at home.

Then they want to tell us how much smarter and more civilized they are for having “free” this and that.

Nevermind America pays for their defense.

Nevermind America pays the R&D costs for drugs and medical devices while they freeload off of that.

Nevermind that they were given trade deals by America which were lopsided in their favor.

That is exactly what the EU wants, Josh. That’s why they’re playing stupid right now and enjoying watching as their stooge Brandon depletes our economy.

Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Someone displays common sense.

The previous occupant of the White House loved his country.
Present a-holes-in-charge hate it and everything it stands for. America is expected to go down with the Uke ship.

All that Western Europe has to worry about is where and when to take their next vacation.

There should be no more slavery visas.

A person on a slavery visa can work for only one employer. He can’t work at a better place. If he is fired, he must go to his country. Americans who do the same type of job compete with slaves.

By the way, they are garbage. People promote patented substances because few sell them, they have fewer competitors, and can make more money. Natural substances are better. There is more research on patented substances because they benefit the sellers, not the sick who take them.

Nope.

And now they’re resorting to yanking kids off the streets and sending them to die

All to satisfy the greed and blood lust of a small few. To include many on here.

As a JO I spent time at a NATO HQs. I would not have missed the education in grand strategy and international organizations for the world. But, for the bureaucracy, it was an idyllic, party going, wife-swapping, do nothing life, with long lunches and short work days. Life sinecure with good salaries + housing and Cost of Living allowances, all tax free if you were on the EU/NATO/diplomatic grift. Sort of like being hereditary nobility if you don’t mind a life of idyl and boredom and booze.
