Yes, Tacoma or Tundra, depending on one's needs. You get what you pay for is true when buying a Toyota. One would like to see a 3/4 ton Tundra, that would be most excellent.

All the domestic brands are passe now, each for their own reason. I'm driving my last Ford right now. How long will it last? We'll see.

Toyota did a poor job with the redesigned Tundra in 2022. Lots of plastic and the real mileage didn't improve much with the V6 twin turbo.

New F150 and GMC 1500 trucks have horrible quality and reliability. Ram is a little better according to Consumer Reports but they probably won't hold up over time.

Ford and GM failed at passenger vehicles. Their trucks now have lots of bling with poor reliability and quality.

Used F150 V8 with 6 speed auto or Tundra V8 seem to be the best full sized options.

I put a gooseneck in my 2018 Tundra to pull a stock trailer. Pulls it fine. I bought it used in 2020 and still have less than 60k miles on it!
