What seems like a dumb question turned out to be revealing. 25% don’t think whites should exist and another 25% aren’t sure. Basic logic says, yeah, stay away. I advise my son’s that repeatedly. It’s fine to have individual friends, but if you’re out and about and you see a grouping, get outta there.

I was traveling this week and stayed at a hotel a few nights. The other morning at the breakfast room off to the side of the hotel lobby, a mother waddled in with a boy who looked to be about 3. The boy was quiet and showing some excellent behavior but not good enough for the mom who at one point shouted out loud enough to make my ears hurt...”you get ovah here right now or I’ll beat the sh!t outta ya!”
Talk about heart breaking.... Who talks like that to a 3 year old? What kind of person would remotely consider uttering that kind of language and exhibiting that kind of behavior in a public space let alone in private? What lessons are being learned by that 3 year old and what behavioral patterns are being set into motion and what will he be like by the time he gets to be a teenager? I regret I didn’t say something but the first thought I had was that anything I say would quickly escalate into something that was far worse. What to do, what to do.... pray for that boy and his mom.
