I'm with you, FRiend. Unfortunately, I live in North Texas, overpopulated as it is, and my burb is a favored destination for "South Asians".

The locals mostly steer clear of me, thanks to my participation in numerous Veterans Day assemblies at the local elementary school. For some reason, they're uncomfortable about old vets like me...lol.

Additionally, my family hasn't been jabbed, nor do we wear masks in public. That's scary to the primary demographic around here.

Yeah, never can tell when us old vets will go berserk on them. ;-D I don't mind the creeps keeping their distance.

I let high school kids into my basement machine shop during the robotics build season. I teach them how to use hand and machine tools. One Asian kid showed up faithfully wearing his face mask. (Just last week) I asked him who he was trying to protect, himself or me. He responded, "I like to think I am protecting us both". I told him he should broaden his reading horizon, because even Fauci admits masks do neither.

He stayed, mask on, for a few hours. I haven't seen him since.

I understand what you have to endure. Too many morons.
