I wanted to tell you about MCT oil.
It helps to repair your mitochondria and your cardiovascular system.
A friend tried it and says it was miraculous.
Personally, I love slides, especially on a slow Q day. I love getting to know people through their personal slides and being able to support them and help them through bad times. It might not always be a good idea to put them anywhere on FR since it's so insecure but if it helps them, I'm all for it.
I love the beautiful pictures, that have nothing to do with Q BTW, unless I'm on my phone but if I am, I scroll on by. I would never ask them to be sent off-thread or to stop doing it regardless of how much FR bandwidth they hog up.
I'm not a fan of memes because most to me are our version of fake news, but I don't demand they be sent to a meme thread. I just scroll on by. I have seen a few non-Q memes that were actually cute or funny.
To me, and it's just how I feel, I see a definite difference about WHO gets told to stop the slides and WHO gets sent to Festival. I'm not the only one that sees it either.
I see being sent to Festival as being told to sit in the corner, time-out, or FRQ jail. Some of the elites in here post and say whatever and nobody ever requests they take it off-thread.
I'm all about fairness when it comes to posting. I detest people being singled out regardless of who they are. I would feel the same and defend any person regardless of my feelings about that person.
If there are Q posting rules for this thread, POST THEM right up front. Post NO SLIDES and make no exceptions. Post NO OFF-TOPIC discussions and make no exceptions.
I'm a rules person. I believe in following the rules if there are any. If there are rules here, POST THEM and enforce them fairly across the board regardless of the poster's status. We have FR rules posted where everybody can see them. If the Q thread has rules, for goodness sakes, POST THEM! If not, stop singling people out because somebody that matters doesn't like the poster. People in here whined and cried non-stop, rightfully, about HG not being required to follow the forum rules. This is no different from where I stand.
None of this was directed at you bitt. You posted an excellent response.

LOL, exactly!
Well said.
Thanks Cleebie!
Regarding your comment on slides, I mostly agree. I do think if something is prefaced with the notation it is a slide, I can better judge if I wish to read the post.
I have learned some of the most valuable information from slides. Because I avoid going beyond the trees to avoid stupidity or rancor I would miss some important things. It often takes several replies to a slide to get a complete information input. So many slides over they years have provided much information to help us remain as healthy as possible. Other slides have given me the courage and comfort to stay the course by reading how others cope.
The slides that I wish were definitely labeled as such are when anyone goes on for many posts making rude comments or judgments about another poster. I can just move on by those. Every poster on the many threads has at some point helped me with information or attitude and I thank God for all of you.
If they are Americans it doesn't matter. The 1st doesn't say "unless they're muzzies".
When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide.
