The Vietnam War started 11/1/1955 so yeah you’d have to be in your 80’s or 90’s to have been old enough to oppose “going in”.

I can oppose a policy at any age dear. Especially being a student of history. And while I am an anti-communist and was in the military during the cold war. Everyone knew that the Vietnam war (undeclared so called police action) had nothing to do with fighting communism, but far more with lining the pockets of bankers and the military industrial complex.
Which is why I say we are being sold a bill of goods on Ukraine.
Now when Biden commits troops (hopefully not) I will support not the war but the troops, and pray that they come home unharmed because of Biden’s and the his friends the Neocon’s and RINOS folly.
