I liked the first five or so seasons of L&O, Michael Moriarity was my favorite ADA... and I still have a crush on Jill Hennessy. After that the stories started repeating. Never liked SVU... I may have watched one episode. Belzer was good on Homicide.
If you like Jill Hennessy you should watch “City on a Hill”. Kevin Bacon is the lead and Hennessy is his wife. Very adult show, but everyone in it does a great job.
