So far all I’ve seen are jokes indicating Putin did this. But Putin didn’t have to have someone throw her out a window - she worked for him. I guess if he thought she was the source of insurrection, he might. But Russia is at war - so why not even consider that those they are fighting would pick off some of the staff conducting the war?
Putin isn’t ‘above it’ but I don’t see the incentive. Putin assassinated someone with Polonium to ‘demonstrate’ with a flourish that he could reach his enemies anywhere in the world. But there she is - working for him. He could, you know, fire her. Send her on some hated assignment in Siberia. I dunno.
