I thought Pennsylvania was #1. You drive any direction away from us, even leftist Maryland or New York, and roads are suddenly better.

LOL...I thought MY state (MA) was #1!

We have had an ongoing battle for the last 30 years to get the road in our neighborhood fixed by the town, but...they are more interested in passing town ordinances that require “climate change” be discussed in all town meetings and official affairs.

Amazing. They have bike trails, firework shows, town festivals, all that, but dammit, they wouldn’t fix a road that was so bad that when we had visitors, they would complain about having to drive over it.

They finally did, this past year, fix the shamefully degraded road in our neighborhood, but it grates on me that we had to badger them for years to do it while they diddle themselves with climate change crap, October Fests and Christmas Parades.

I would have said Pa was #1 as a Marylander. I lived in PA for several years and always complained about the roads there.
