They used fishy statistics to say that there would be a MD surplus if more med schools were built or expanded in the mid-70s.

There were 88 medical schools in 1966. In 1976 there were 114 (+29%). Now there are 158.

And they are still producing 75% of the actual need, or we wouldn’t be importing Pakistanis.

Please prove me wrong, I’m dying to hear the rationalization.
