A few months ago I was prescribed some hydrocodone following oral surgery. The pharmacy wanted to include a dose of Narcan when I filled the prescription. Ended up not needing the pain pills, but I kept them in case I drop a cinder block on my foot, or something.
There’s an outfit here in Illinois that’s giving the stuff away. Fill out a web form and a few days later 4 doses with syringes landed in my mailbox. Am I ever going to need it? Highly unlikely.
But if I ever do need it I will really, really, really need it.
