Dubai’s health care is subsidized, and “free” for Emirati nationals; there is no free market health care there so everyone at the top is getting “their cut” no matter what. Our free market share, such as it was, is almost kaput. Is that what you want for the USA?
Dubai’s healthcare is subsidized because they’ve got more money than God. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that pretty much every country in the world is subsidized in some form or another. Look around you, about half the people in the US have their health care subsidized. The difference is that in the US the rest of us get raped to pay for it after the money gets run through insurers, drug makers, and politicians pockets with them taking their skim off the top. When you ask what I want, what I want is to stop getting raped by the giant scam we call health care in the US.
Have you ever been to Dubai? I spend a lot of time there. The health care is excellent there (because they’ve got a lot of money) and in general you’d be better off getting sick there than most places in the US.
