Covert Action was an enemy of the US during the old War. I believed then and still do nothing was to bad to be used against the communists. The fascinating topic is how did the FBI, the premier counter intelligence agency, the CIA, virtually the other armed forces in the war with communism, and the NSA who deligently tried to sweep up every scrap of electronic intelligence from the communists got re-engineered to attack the American people? Mueller’s program to turn the FBI from an investigative agency to an intelligiece agency may provide the key. Mueller became FI director after being made a partner in Hale and Dorr, one of the giant legal lobbyist firms. The connection is there, who took this opportunistic man up to a high place and showed him all the kingdoms of the earth that would be his if he just bowed down and worshiped certain people? This is like John McCain being offered the Faustian handshake after he swore to do anything to keep the secret of the POWs Nixon deliberately left behind one of the great secrets of the Beltway. Who are these enormousely powerful people? The huge wealth now available have made them think they are men who would be gods.
