I was a double major in philosophy and history. Junior year I was reading 300 to 600 pages a day. Tough, but I pushed through it. Didn’t make a dime of difference in my life, but it was an interesting time.
300 to 600 pages a day. That is amazing. I was never that fortunate to take courses like that. I did take a summer school course once and it required us to read just about all day every day. It was wonderful.
Was it Woody Allen who said something like “I took a speed reading course and read War and Peace in an hour. It was about Russia.”
