I find it ludicrous to suggest ChatGPT is going to be the death of Google, even though I might wish it to be so. They are far more imbedded with the federal government than most realize. Look at what is happening with the CEO of Youtube right now. Another platform that has been censoring conservatives for a very long time and manipulating searches. Talk about something on your phone to someone and go do a search on Youtube about something totally unrelated. See what you see. NO privacy, that is where we’re at. They are getting scared that republicans are finally going to grow a pair. What a pipedream that is. Look at Yahoo, once one of the greatest websites on the early internet turned into a h1-b employee hack fest of their own email system. I had an email account there for a very long time and started to get emails sent to me from myself. What is the common in all of this censorship, h1-bs, that’s what. You think ChatGPT is going to be any different.

It won’t be the death of Google, but it will weaken Google’s destructive extortion of search results.

Sadly, MS will try to monetize ChatGPT and attach it to ad revenue. But the genie is out of the bottle with it, and Google (and its investors) should be damned alarmed that search ad revenue is under attack.

That, I’m all for.
