The goal is to isolate us by limiting our travel within a few miles.
In the mid 80’s went to visit family that lived in communist countries.
The only relative who owned a car was the vice president of a bank and his wife a teacher and my apartment as a student was bigger than his!!!

I guess I've already self-isolated in my little Mayberry, and I've already considered getting myself a bicycle (I actually, I found four bicycles in my old shed just yesterday). The grocery store, the hardware store, the post office, the barber shop, city hall, the bank, the burger cafe and the city park and tennis courts ... all within reasonable bicycling distance for these 64-year-old legs.
Any limitations on travel only serves to keep *them* away from *me*.
