Just think of how America tears down it’s icons. Could be statues or the names of towns. All the effort it takes could be better spent. Would this country be better without J Edgar? Was McCarthy right in his assault on communists?

Remember Woody Hayes? After a 6 year effort to get him fired he goes out on the field and punches a Clemson player. Another icon Joe Paterno stuck around too long, perhaps emulating Hoover. Pete Rose got what he deserved. It’s a shame. George Floyd was a waste of human skin. He’s revered. The media controls the narrative. It got us into 2 world wars.

J Edgar was a perfect product of the Progressive Era. The choice is not between lionizing Floyd George or revering Hoover as an “icon”.

He was a homosexual crossdresser, fruit of the Wilson era progressives. Pretended the mafia didn’t exist, illegally spied on presidents, Congressmen, and anyone with the slightest civil rights bent such as MLK, and then blackmailed them.

The Founders would be horrified at a secret police like the FBI and it’s leader, personally and professionally.
