This was a false equivalency the Red Scare was justified the censorship is not. TOTALLY agree. The communist infiltration that McCarthy investigated is EXACTLY the same as the marxist censorship today. Both were accurate and both have the goal of eliminating individual liberty and freedom. The only thing that prevents "turnabout is fair play" justice resulting in 100M to 200M leftists in mass graves is that conservatives don't behave like leftists.
