I found this article: Former Florida Gators OL Kaleb Boateng dies at student housing apartment complex from the local TV station WCJB.

Excerpt:

TV20 has confirmed Boateng died at the Varsity House apartment complex on Thursday night. The Gainesville Police Department determined the death was an apparent suicide.

However, I wouldn't use "determined" and "apparent" in the same conclusive statement.
