Might have been true in more innocent times. Kid takes down a bully, wins friends and gets the girl. It's a nice scene right out of "Back To The Future."

Not in my urban high school, which was infested with street gangs. You punch one of them back and now you have the entire gang to contend with. And nobody will step in to help you because they don't want to get involved and also be on the gang's bad side.

Yeah I didn’t have the urban setting to contend with, and I never ‘got’ the girl- that didn’t happen till my mid-20’s.
