If they need to call up another 300,000 troops to be effective by May…that kind of decision needs to be made now.
One does not call up another 300k (which would double the Russian army’s size in the past year) without the logistics to support that. Clothing, weapons, trucks, trains, tanks, training, leadership…are not things you have on the shelf.
And an immediate call up of 30,000 isn’t going to amount to anything on such a large battlefield.
