The key here is “Unwanted”. Yes, I’m sure that’s awkward, sometimes embarrassing and can be a PITA. That said, the overwhelming majority of women clearly want male attention and want it quite badly judging from the amount of effort they put into getting male attention.

I think it is a marketing issue with women trying to look like the air brushed models....or conditioned to believe their total worth lies in their appearance.

The man won't know for sure if his attention will be unwanted, until he tries. Women need to understand that.
