Read that he was keeping company with an officer’s baby mama. That was not an ordinary traffic stop close to his mother’s house... they were after him for personal reason. It will all come out.

A former Memphis policeman called the local radio talk show.
He said Tyre had been sleeping with one of the officers’ baby mama.
It is not clear if she was a wife, former wife, girlfriend or former girlfriend.
Charges likely to be upgraded to first degree murder.
Oh and the policeman said the offenders spotted his car to pull him over.
Not that he had committed some sort of traffic violation.

Yep. I posted the same thing on another thread about a week ago and was chastised/penalized by the moderator for it because there were a few virtue-signaling FReepers that were offended by my comments which were essentially the same thing I will state below.
In no way was this murder justified or acceptable, but when you make former gangbangers into cops, you get “street justice” (’hood justice, ghetto justice, gang justice, etc.)
Again, I said it before and I’ll say it again, this was not some innocent and non-affiliated dude from the ‘hood that was arbitrarily or randomly singled out for a beating. He was from the ‘hood and did something verboten by ‘hood standards and received ‘hood justice as a result.
I don’t agree with it, but I don’t make the rules in the ‘hood either, and sure as heck fire don’t agree with turning gang bangers into cops. Not a good idea.
