Exactly. That’s why we hear stories about cops being called and kids getting handcuffed. Teachers aren’t allowed to get physical with the kids and cops have protocols to deal with the unruly.
They mainstream the troubled kids and this is one of the results (outside of, of course, where the hell did he get a gun and metal detectors are needed at schools). My daughter worked as a teacher’s assistant for a while and saw a lot of it. One kid was a desk licker, literally would lick his desk. She saw a lot of angry little ones, too. They disrupt the class often, too.
The report is that he came up behind her while she was sitting and jammed his forearm into her throat. Another teacher had to break it up. The response of the school was to move him to another class. That’s it.
